FREE Solar Thermal + £3000 for New Doors and Windows

Energy Support Link is happy to announce the launch of FREE SOLAR THERMAL for all qualifying properties. Qualifying properties will also receive and extra £3,000 funding to use on Windows, Doors and other energy efficient measures.

Total funding being awarded per household is £10,000.

Below we will detail how to qualify for Free Solar Thermal & Doors and Windows as well as describing the benefits of each measure.

With Energy Support Link you must have Solar Thermal installed first and then you can pick a secondary product from below and use a further £3,000 in funding:

Secondary Glazing***

Energy Efficient Replacement Doors*

Draught Proofing

Other measures also include solid wall insulation, cavity wall insulation, under floor insulation, loft insulation, flat room insulation & room in roof insulation.

The Process

The process is very simple we do all the work for you an outline of the steps are indicated below:

Step 2. You will have a free home assessment by one our our qualified Domestic Energy Assessors

Step 3. Engineers will visit and install the Solar Thermal you will start receiving savings from day one on your energy bills

Step 4. Chose more products from the list below to be fitted upto £3,000 such as Doors and Windows.


This is a fantastic product that enables you to save a upto 90% on your hot water bills and also extend the life of your boiler upto 60%. Below is a list of just some of the benefits to have Free Solar Thermal fitted.

1. The average UK Heating bill is £1254 per year, Solar Thermal delivers 90% off you summer water heating demand and provides at least 40-60% of hot water requirements. This is a big energy saving.

2. Free source of hot water

3. You will own outright the Free Solar Thermal system this is a Government Grant not a repayment scheme  or a loan.

4. You will be then able to access upto a further £3,000 to use on items such as Doors, Windows and other measures. Solar Thermal is classed as a Primary Measure which means once you have a primary measure you qualify automatically for a secondary measure. The remaining level of funding can be used on any of the secondary measures.

To qualify for this type of Government Scheme you need to be a homeowner and in receipt of a qualifying component listed below:

How Solar Thermal Works

Solar Thermal works by using the sun's energy to convert into heat which is then transferred into your home heating system in the form of hot water and space heating. The heat from the exchanger will then heat the water inside the tank.
